STORE POLICIES
Purchasing and Holds:
We do not hold items. An issued invoice does not place constrain an item or make it considered as on hold. An item is not sold until the payment is fully received.
Delivery Period:
Jeddah: 3-5 working days
Saudi Arabia: 5-7 working days
GCC: 7-14 working days
Shipping:
We process and ship all our orders 5 days a week, with the exception of Fridays & Saturdays and Saudi Arabia Public Holidays.
If you are ordering oversized items online, please email for shipping quotes or pick up requirements prior to purchasing. Shipping is not included at checkout on oversized and/or international items. If you are not charged for shipping, or asked for your shipping address, your item will not be shipped. We use TNT/Fedex shipping for most oversized items within the region. Please contact us for shipping quotes and options prior to making any international orders. Shipping rates are calculated by the shipping company.
All items are shipped at your own risk. Items will be insured with shipping couriers, and is the buyers responsibility to file a claim should an item go missing or become damaged during shipment.
We do not ship large, heavy, and oversized furniture internationally at this time.
For orders in Jeddah, KSA, if you would rather pick up a purchase that you were charged shipping on, please email us after checkout and we can refund you for shipping.
Returns & Exchanges:
If a customer is not happy with their purchase they may obtain a full refund or exchange within 24 hours of receiving the products. Satisfaction is always a top priority and as such each query is addressed individually to the best of our ability. Please ask for measurements and feel free to ask as many questions as necessary. We are always happy to send more photos, videos, or details before purchase. We strive to sell items in as-best-of-condition as possible. Some vintage pieces show signs of wear that are consistent with age. The condition of each individual item may vary accordingly and are sold as is. ALL SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL AND CANNOT BE EXCHANGED OR REFUNDED.
Pick Up and Shipping duration:
Sold items MUST be picked up or shipped within 5 days of purchase. If additional time is needed, all requests must be coordinated with Once Upon a Chair. A storage amount will be automatically charged once the 5 day period is up. Arrangements can be made to store items for a longer period of time for an additional storage fee. Items not picked up after 30 days are considered abandoned property and will be donated.
Designer / Trade Discount:
We strive to have beautiful furniture be equally accessible to everyone. We price all of our pieces competitively. We offer the same fair and equal prices to all our customers whether direct to consumer or to the trade. We offer 5% discounts when purchases are paid in cash.
